Unearthed in the year 2148, this guitar, destroyed and forgotten at the dawn of the apocalypse, was the first out of one hundred items revived and made whole again by the Phoenix. Though now just a relic enclosed in the creature’s golden dust, it is often said that the last song strummed on this instrument can still be heard echoing through time.
As a companion to another project in the making, this work is the first of many in Antonio's Phoenix Series, which will be a collection of art pieces that depict items as seen in Antonio's apocalyptic, fantasy world called Orbis.
