About
Andrai Antonio is a Philippine based artist who attended College of Saint Benilde, School of Design and Arts for Industrial Design. After finding his passion for acrylic painting, he furthered his skills under the instruction of Nick Calma of Silab Artreach Program under Art Circle Gallery.
Today, Antonio is an independent artist experimenting with diverse mediums and art forms.
As a way to lessen our world’s waste with one art piece at a time, Antonio has always enjoyed creating art with recycled materials. His collection "The Phoenix Series" seeks to “revive” trash to gold, using paint and recycled items to slowly uncover the story of the Phoenix and his world Orbis.
Currently, Antonio’s exploration of new art forms has led him to focus on creating artisan wooden toys. Antonio’s work has been shown in Silab Artreach Art Exhibit in Edsa Shangri-la Mall, in DITO: Bahay ng Sining Poetry Slam, Music and Art Auction in Marikina, Filipina Artful Living Art & Lifestyle Fair in Rockwell Tent Makati and The Jeepney Stop website.
